Kenda Tires is Hiring a Senior Territory Sales Manager Near Cartersville, GA

The Senior Territory Sales Manager oversees sales operations within a designated geographic area. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, managing relationships with key clients, and leading other sales representatives to achieve targets.

Education And/or Work Experience Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales experience in territory management in B to B and OEM sales/account management.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field or a combination equivalent experience.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • In-depth understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior.
  • Familiarity with the industry-specific products and services.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours as needed.
ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives within the assigned territory.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Set and monitor sales targets for the territory, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
Team Leadership And Development
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve their individual and team targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Sales Operations
  • Oversee day-to-day sales activities within the territory, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage current customers accounts in addition to others as assigned.
Collaboration And Communication
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, product development) to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Communicate regularly with the Vice President of Sales to provide updates on sales performance and market conditions.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences as needed.
