Kennebec Valley Community College is Hiring a Wedding Coordinator (Contract Position) Near Fairfield, ME
POSITION TITLE: Wedding Coordinator (Contract Position)
SALARY: The Coordinator will receive a total of $275.00 per wedding. This is broken down into 2 payments: $75 upon deposit of the space, and $200 after the wedding has occurred.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Kennebec Valley Community College is searching for an individual to oversee the coordination of weddings at the Moody Chapel in Hinckley, Maine. Tasks would include:
- Creation of marketing materials for the College’s website and digital marketing efforts
- Meeting with interested parties to showcase the Chapel
- Scheduling of weddings within the College’s availability
- Coordinate with:
- Additional services (when needed) such as campus safety, technology and facilities
- The College’s Business Office for receipt of payment and record of event participants
- Attendance at wedding rehearsal event
- Attendance during actual wedding event
QUALIFICATIONS: Great customer service and communication skills; experience in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with marketing and websites; as well as a valid driver’s license are required.
