Administrative Assistant (Part-time)
Kennedy Capital Management (KCM) is a St. Louis-based, boutique investment firm. We are currently seeking to add a part-time Administrative Assistant to our team. This position will work approximately 24 hours per week (three 8 hour shifts from appx. 8am to 4 pm).
Position Summary
Working three days per week, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for the front desk reception activities, employee event planning, and various executive administrative tasks. This position supports the entire office and represents the company in a professional and friendly manner.
Essential Functions
- Answers and routes incoming calls, distributes mail and packages, greets and directs all visitors.
- Responsible for planning and administering numerous employee fun events (such as holiday party).
- Provides administrative support to the CEO and performs a wide variety of executive administrative tasks such as: maintains calendars, schedules travel, processes expense reports, develops written correspondence, etc.
- Orders lunches for groups of various sizes, orders flowers, employee gifts, and anniversary awards.
- Performs light housekeeping ensuring reception and kitchenette areas are neat and presentable.

- Highly professional phone skills, front desk appearance and overall attitude towards guests and employees. Must have related experience in a professional environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be strong in time management with ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skill.
- Ability to work independently, and occasionally work outside normal office hours as needed for coordination of employee fun events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
