Multi-office law firm with a global reach is seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to be based out of the corporate office in Boston. The BDM will drive strategic development and visibility for the Venture Capital and Mergers & Acquisitions practices. This is a hybrid role that requires an energetic, process-oriented professional. Responsibilities include working with attorneys to expand existing/new client relationships; drafting pitch materials and RFP responses; utilizing data and tech platforms to develop sales reports/client activity; working with PR to drive visibility in relevant publications; assisting in budget preparation and review and much more. The BDM requires project management and analytical skills. They are part of a business development team managing marketing and BD strategies for the corporate practice. The BDM must have 7 years in business development (law firm preferred); the ability to work with, consult and advise attorneys in business development practices; see the big picture and develop a plan to execute; and possess excellent presentation skills!!
