Heavy Civil Excavation and Utility Estimator

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction estimating and possess a strong understanding of cost control and negotiation techniques.

Duties
- Utilize software such as Bid2Win, PlanSwift, AGTEK or equivalent earthwork software and Bluebeam for accurate construction cost estimation
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine accurate pricing
- Collaborate with construction managers to develop project budgets
- Conduct on-site visits to assess construction requirements
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
- Review and interpret construction contracts to ensure compliance with pricing terms

Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating and project pricing
- Proficiency in using construction estimating software such as Bid2Win, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, AGTEK or equivalent earthwork software
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred, but not required
