Kenowa Builders is a locally-owned residential building company specializing in high-end remodeling and custom homes. We take pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship and outstanding customer service. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team.

As a Project Manager at Kenowa Builders, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of residential custom home construction projects, from initial planning through to final completion, client handover, and warranty. You will collaborate closely with clients, designers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple custom home construction projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Develop comprehensive project schedules and communicate these effectively to all stakeholders.
• Procure necessary permits, materials, and subcontractor services, and oversee the procurement process to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate and supervise all on-site construction activities, including subcontractor management, site inspections, and quality control.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identify potential risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, andnensure client satisfaction throughout the construction process.
• Conduct regular project meetings with internal teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to review project status, discuss upcoming milestones, and resolve any issues or conflicts.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards, and implement appropriate safety measures on-site.
• Manage project finances, including tracking budgets, estimates, and maintaining accurate project costs including new work and unforeseen challenges.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in project management within the residential construction industry, with a focus on custom home building.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Planner.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.
