We currently have an opening for a Parole Board Specialist I working in our Frankfort Central Office. The main duty of this position is researching offender files to complete risk and needs assessments on those individuals being considered for parole. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• The completion of the Parole Guidelines and Needs Risk Assessment on an assigned caseload of 200 - 350 offenders.
• Meet multiple deadlines each month.
• Assist with phone and mail coverage, as needed.
• Enter Parole Board file review decisions on parole eligibility hearings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Time management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Should be able to work independently
• The ideal candidate should have acute attention to detail and initiative, as well as the ability to work under pressure
