Application Programmer Analyst III. Review, analyze, & modify programming systems including designing, programming, encoding, testing, debugging & installing to support organizations distributed computer applications using IBM Datastage, MS SQL Server, DB2, Data Warehousing, and Snowflake; take lead role in dealing with users in defining new systems; prepare technical design and program specifications; mentor software developers; and recommend vendor application and development software. A bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in computer science, computer applications, computer information systems, math, or mechanical, electrical, or electronics engineering and five years post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in computer science, computer applications, computer information systems, math, or mechanical, electrical, or electronics engineering and three years post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered are required.
