Kett Engineering is looking for good, dependable and safe drivers to join our team at our customer location in Commerce City, CO. This full-time position requires the drivers to drive and evaluate advanced tractor/trailers and other vehicles for testing purposes.

No loading/unloading, no deliveries, no touch-freight!

Drivers will be conducting the pre & post trip safety inspections as required of the vehicles. Once completed you will be driving on "real world" durability test routes on various road surfaces throughout 8-10 hour shifts.

Findings during the shift will be electronically documented in a very clear and concise manner. Training will be provided on the routes and the documentation process.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid CDL A and DOT Card
• Must have a clean driving history for at least the past 3 years. No at-fault accidents, DUIs, DWIs
• Must have manual transmission experience
• Must have at least 3 years tractor trailer driving experience
• Attention to detail with the ability to communicate findings both verbally and in writing
• Able to contribute in a team environment
• Must pass pre-employment drug and background screens
• Must be tech savvy; operate a smartphone, tablet, laptop

Desired Skills:

• Passenger Endorsement a plus, not required
• Experience in driving mountain roads in all weather conditions
• Capability to perform the essential functions of this position without accommodations

Shift Hours:

1st Shift: 7am – 2pm/4pm - Hourly Pay Rate: $28.00

2nd Shift: 3pm/6pm – 10pm/12am, 1am/3am – Hourly Pay Rate: $30.00
