Campus OverviewSoin Medical Center
  • Soin Medical Center has been serving residents of Greene, Western Clark, Eastern Montgomery, and Miami counties since 2012.

Responsibilities & Requirements JOB SUMMARY The Director will be a highly competent individual capable of providing positive leadership for the Radiology Department. He/she will be responsible for coordinating the operations of in Radiology so that work is completed in a timely, efficient, and competent manner. The individual in this position must be committed to education and be willing to participate in and direct the training of student radiology technologists and provide updating and retraining of imaging technologists. This individual will work with the Medical Directors of the Radiology Departments to provide the most clinically effective and cost efficiently run imaging departments. The
individual in this position must be committed to meet operating budgets and labor productivity standards. Performs other duties as assigned.
REPORTS TO: CFO/COO
Essential FunctionsKey Job Responsibilities
  • Perform process analysis, project management, research and project design, operations management.
  • Plan and formulate objectives and goals.
  • Work with physicians, hospital staff, external hospital community and public officials, third party and professional review organizations and develop constructive relationships.
  • Committed to meeting operating budgets and labor productivity standards.
  • Understand and communicate instructions, information and concepts.
  • Organize and prioritize duties and projects in order to meet scheduled deadlines.
  • Initiate and carry out responsibilities independently.
  • Maintains understanding and knowledge of accreditation standards.
Job RequirementsMinimum Education
Must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Management or Radiology Sciences. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum Work ExperienceFive years’ experience in acute care or outpatient setting. 5-7 years of progressive
management responsibility in a healthcare setting will be considered.
Required Licenses
[Ohio, United States] Radiologic Technologist and Technician
It is expected that the Director will be active in professional organizations such as the AHRA, ASRT, SDMS or SNM and will have the credential of a Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) or Fellow in American college of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) as well as registration in one of the imaging modalities.
