Kettmann Machining is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to ensure the highest quality of all parts within the manufacturing cycle.

Responsibilities

• First part inspection
• Monitoring of in-process inspection activities
• Incoming inspection
• Final inspection
• Maintenance of the internal inspection log
• Operate/Create programs with CMM (Zeiss Calypso Preferred) 
• Operate/Create Programs with Vision Systems (Keyence, Smart Scope)
• Monthly feedback on calibration activities, corrective action status and internal inspection results

Skills

• Strong reading, writing and math skills required.
• Strong English-speaking skills required.
• Computer skills for Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics required.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles and applications.
• Ability to use hand tools such as caliper, micrometer, gage pins, height gage etc. 
• Analytical Skills, ability to apply a systematic QA approach while using existing procedures to solve a range of technical/mechanical issues.
• Strong Customer service skills required.
• Experience in Medical Device or other positions involving ISO 13485 standards is preferred
