Job Summary:

Are you an exceptional leader with a passion for transforming lives through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)? As the Clinical Director at Key Essentials to Behavior Management, you’ll have the opportunity to make a profound impact by overseeing and driving our ABA services for children and adults with disabilities. You’ll ensure the delivery of high-quality care across various settings—clinics, homes, schools, and via Telehealth. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Behavior Technicians, therapists, and educators to achieve outstanding outcomes for our clients. This role requires on-site work, rotating across all clinic locations, and a BCBA certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Provide leadership and supervision to a team of Behavior Analysts, Behavior Technicians, and support staff, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Behavioral Strategies: Develop and implement effective behavioral intervention strategies, individualized treatment plans, and behavior support plans for clients.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Conduct functional behavior assessments and collect data to monitor progress and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans and ensure consistency in client care.
  • Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and industry standards in ABA and integrate them into clinical practice.
  • Documentation: Monitor clinical documentation, case notes, and programming data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Training & Development: Provide ongoing training, support, and professional development to the clinical team to maintain high levels of competence and performance.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance evaluations for all clinical staff, providing constructive feedback and mentoring to facilitate growth and improvement.
  • Financial & Operational Management: Monitor financial and operational aspects of the clinical program, including budgeting, resource allocation, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as funding agencies, school districts, and regulatory bodies, to promote the organization's services and develop partnerships.
  • Professional Engagement: Actively participate in professional conferences, workshops, and seminars to enhance knowledge and represent the organization in the behavioral health community.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience providing ABA services as a BCBA, preferably with diverse populations and across various settings.
  • Strong leadership abilities with previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Excellent knowledge of ABA principles, behavior change procedures, and ethical guidelines.
  • Proficient in conducting functional behavior assessments, developing treatment plans, and analyzing data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Previous experience with Telehealth platforms and technologies is preferred.
  • Familiarity with relevant state and federal regulations regarding behavioral health and disability services.

Physical Requirements

Occasional Requirements (1-3 hours): Sitting, standing, walking, simple grasping, power grasping, pushing, pulling, reach above shoulder, reach waist level, reach below waist, reach below knee, ending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, driving personal vehicle.

Rare Requirements (0-1): Hand and wrist work, keyboarding, fine manipulation, climbing stairs, lifting/carrying 1-50lbs.

The field of Applied Behavior Analysis may involve direct contact with individuals that may potentially exhibit aggressive and/or extremely challenging behaviors (i.e. spitting, hitting, kicking, throwing of objects, etc.).
