DETAILS:

Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $19.00-21.00 per hour
Shift: 3 Days Per Week in Office/2 days at home after 90 days

Key Point Health Services is a leading nonprofit agency serving people with behavioral healthcare needs in the Greater Baltimore area. We provide comprehensive community-based services that help people thrive while realizing and choosing their goals. We provide opportunities, support and integration within our community. Among the programs and services, we provide are Outpatient Mental Health Centers, Adult and Child Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs, School-Based Therapy, Community Outreach, and Residential Services.
Who We Need: We are currently looking for a full-time Hiring Coordinator to join our Human Resources Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Hiring Coordinator is responsible for the management of the advertising and recruiting services that are utilized by the agency.
  • Responsible for providing support to the Program Managers and Directors during the on boarding and exiting processes of employees and interns.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of all documentation related to new employee/intern hiring.
  • Maintain communication regarding new open positions when there are employee/intern exits or related openings.
  • Continue to establish and lead the standard recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit and hire a superior workforce.
  • They are responsible for entry, tracking, and reporting of background checks involving criminal, educational, and motor vehicle checks, as well as drug screens, references, and any other required checks as needed. This includes:
    • OIG
    • Sex Offender
    • Maryland Judicial Case Search
    • Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
  • Responsible for maintaining all job boards and working with all outside recruiters and agencies.
  • Attend job fairs and recruiting events and actively work to promote our open positions to colleges and other agencies in the community.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • The Human Resources Hiring Coordinator should have a combination of experience and education related to the population with whom Key Point serves and additionally basic HR functions.
  • The employee should have knowledge of organizational structures and relevant job duties common within the organization.
  • The employee demonstrates the ability to express themselves well through writing, interpersonal and oral communication skills.
  • They will demonstrate an understanding and sensitivity to serving culturally diverse and/or special needs population while maintaining patient confidentially.
  • Must be proficient in excel and general database programs.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma 2 years’ experience in an HR role
  • Undergraduate degree and no experience
  • Experience in hiring
