Key Property Management is Hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician Near Ogden, UT
Key Property Management is seeking a Full-Time Apartment Maintenance Technician in Ogden, UT. The Maintenance Technician will work with the Property Manager to identify and correct janitorial and maintenance-related and capital improvement activities.
The responsibilities of this position include the following but are not limited to:
- Performing daily maintenance of apartments, grounds, parking lots, and common areas
- General repairs – including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, drywall, painting
- Appliance troubleshooting
- Initiate, perform, and/or oversee janitorial and maintenance projects
- Maintaining and checking safety systems
- Custodial duties as assigned including maintaining sidewalk, parking lot & dumpster enclosure areas
- Assisting in preparation for government inspections with an emphasis on site health and safety
- Perform apartment turnovers within corporate timeframes
- Work with Property Manager to meet and exceed the needs of the apartment community.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience in property maintenance
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to manage multiple, concurrent maintenance activities
- Effective communication skills
- Experience with REAC/NSPIRE or housing related government inspections is helpful.
Candidates must be detail-oriented and be able to demonstrate an excellent work ethic. Superior customer-service skills are a must.
Applicants for employment must be able to successfully pass a criminal background test and drug screening.
Wage is DOE
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
