Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Account Management:
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Develop and execute account strategies to maximize growth and ensure client satisfaction.
- Act as a trusted partner, aligning the company's capabilities with clients' needs and objectives.
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within major accounts like Sherwin Williams, PPG, and AKZO Resins.
- Partner with clients to understand their goals and deliver solutions that help them succeed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams (R&D, supply chain, marketing, etc.) to meet client demands and exceed expectations.
- Revenue Generation:
- Drive revenue growth by creating tailored value propositions and innovative offerings.
- Negotiate and secure high-value contracts, ensuring mutual benefit for the company and its clients.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
- Lead global account planning sessions and maintain alignment between regional and global strategies.
- Market and Industry Insights:
- Stay updated on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to provide actionable insights.
- Support the development of new products and applications that meet emerging industry demands.
- Develop Marketing Material to be used to present companies capabilities.
- Performance and Reporting:
- Monitor account performance and report progress against key metrics and strategic goals.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on account development and market opportunities.
- Experience:
- 8-10 years of key account management or business development experience in the CASE market. Strong current connections with key players in the industry.
- Demonstrated success managing large, global accounts with complex supply chains.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and data-driven decision-making.
- Travel Requirements:
- 25% travel to visit clients and attend industry events. A current passport is required
- Location:
- Flexible, with preference for proximity to major customer markets or company headquarters.
