Compensation: $90,000/yr -$125,000/yr - Dependent on Experience
Position Summary: The Maintenance Manager II is accountable for overseeing all aspects of plant maintenance, including facilities, utilities, and operations, to minimize downtime and ensure maximum plant efficiency. This role involves close collaboration with the Maintenance Manager I to supervise the maintenance team and evaluate their performance.

Position Summary: The Maintenance Manager II is accountable for overseeing all aspects of plant maintenance, including facilities, utilities, and operations, to minimize downtime and ensure maximum plant efficiency. This role involves close collaboration with the Maintenance Manager I to supervise the maintenance team and evaluate their performance.
Job Description:
- Prepares and manages the maintenance operating budget, ensuring expenditures remain within established limits.
- Assists in planning and estimating costs for annual and long-term capital budgets.
- Executes the capital plan, overseeing all engineering designs and leading projects with both internal and external resources.
- Directs all aspects of building operations, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
- Establishes criteria for evaluating the quality of work performed by employees and contractors.
- Supervises work completion by reviewing reports, conducting frequent site inspections, and conferencing with operations and vendors regarding electrical and plumbing equipment, HVAC systems, electric motors, ventilating fans, air conditioning, and electrical control units.
- Investigates the condition of buildings, equipment, and grounds, recommending improvements to meet facility needs.
- Possesses broad knowledge and experience in project management and facilities administration, with a demonstrated ability to manage projects and personnel.
- Coordinates with Human Resources on employee discipline matters according to company policies.
- Manages hiring, training, and onboarding of new employees.
- Supervises daily department operations and workflow.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's Degree or 6-10 Years of related field preferred in processing/manufacturing environment.
- Comprehensive information on construction processes, trade practices, standards, building codes & regulations.
- Be acquainted with FDA/FSMA/CDPH (food safety) requirements and auditing standards
- and ensure compliance in all aspects of the maintenance department.
- Proficient in electricity, electronics, computers, PLCs, fluid mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, boilers, refrigeration, and preventive/predictive maintenance.
- Experienced with inventory software and order processing systems.
- Bilingual - English and Spanish
- Ability to travel within a 70-mile radius (Lost Hills & Firebaugh)
- At the completion of 30 days of employment, you will be eligible to enroll in Benefit Plans. Medical (Base Plan); Employee paid at 90%, 75% for any dependent. Dental; Employee paid 100% and 75% for dependents.
- Vision is paid at 100% for the employee and any dependents.
- Life insurance in the amount $25,000 will be paid by the employer at 100% for the employee.
- Employee will be eligible to participate in 401(k) Retirement Program after 12 months of continuous employment. The plan allows eligible employees to defer compensation up to the maximum annual deferral limit. The plan involves an employer match of 3% for the first 3% of the employee contribution, 1% of the next 2% of the employee contribution. Section 125 Flexible Spending Plan after 30 days of employment.
- Upon the completion of 90 days of employment, you will be eligible to start accruing vacation 3 hours per pay period.
