Location: 11501 Outlook Street - Overland Park, Kansas 66211 JOB BRIEF (PURPOSE): Examine and monitor the covenant requirements in loan documents and evaluate loan compliance. This position may be flexible to hire at an Analyst I, II, or III, based on a qualified candidate’s level of experience. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Review and analyze loan documents. Ensure proper implementation of default and/or lockbox processes by escalating situations that fail required metrics. Correspond with Account Managers and Surveillance Analysts to receive required documentation as scheduled by the loan documents and to escalate any non-compliant loans. Input and maintain loan and collateral data in the loan servicing system: accurately scrub and implement new deals/securitizations to identify all covenants and also ensure proper thresholds and calculations are met. Monitor assigned portfolio in order to ensure compliance with loan agreements. Assist the Surveillance management team with special projects, as assigned. Develop and maintain processes and procedures for the group. MARGINAL OR PERIPHERAL FUNCTIONS: Other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Four-year college degree and/or equivalent experience Proficiency in reading and interpreting loan documents Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as a high degree of analytical skills Overall knowledge of commercial underwriting Knowledge of operating statement review and interpretation PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Background in real estate servicing or transactions, accounting/auditing, or commercial loan underwriting Efficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, and email software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook EQUIPMENT USED: Personal Computer Standard office equipment (phone, fax, copier, calculator) Software: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook TRAINING REQUIRED: Classroom and on-the-job training program Continuing and ongoing training as needed KeyCorp is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer committed to building a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture.
