As a Full-Time Nursing Faculty, your primary responsibility is the implementation of academic programs. You will teach clinical or lab courses and contribute to teaching, research, and service missions.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: Master’s in Nursing (or in progress); MBA considered with a Bachelor’s in Nursing.
- Experience: 15,000 hours or 3 years of bedside nursing experience.
- Certifications: BLS certification, up-to-date immunizations (including COVID), federal and state background clearance, clear drug screen, current and unencumbered MN RN license.
- Preferred: Pre-licensure program teaching experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitate student learning in clinical/lab settings and online.
- Guide students in professionalism, practice, and research.
- Evaluate student practice effectively.
- Provide a supportive learning environment.
- Give feedback to Course Coordinators and administrators.
- Participate in curriculum development and evaluation.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing Academic Services and healthcare partners.
- Maintain clinical competence and knowledge in nursing.
