Keystaff Professionals is partnering with one of our key clients to find a Controller in the Fargo or Wadena area to lead a team of 4-5. As well as perform accounting duties.

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management, Board of Directors, owners, and external stakeholders.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to create realistic financial projections.
• Manage cash flow and liquidity, ensuring sufficient funds for operational needs and capital expenditures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management roles, within in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with MAPICS/Infor XA is advantageous.
• Exceptional leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of leading and developing accounting teams.
