Delightful Lititz family is looking for a part time and long term nanny for their sweet 3.5 year old little girl! Qualifications: Experienced: 2-3 years of childcare experience, ideally with toddlers Compassionate & Engaging: Candidate must have a genuine love for children and a passion for fostering their development through play and exploration. Safety-Conscious: Must prioritize the well-being of the child and must be CPR and First Aid certified. Organized & Reliable: Candidate must have excellent time management skills and maintain a clean and organized environment. Communicative: Must be a clear and concise communicator who keeps the parents updated throughout the day with texts, calls, and pictures (when appropriate) Healthy Habits: Must be a non-smoker who believes in healthy living. Tech-Savvy (with Limits): Must be comfortable using technology to connect with parents , but understand the importance of limited screen time for both you and the child. Respectful: Is comfortable with cameras in the house and understands the parents need to check in periodically. Driver's License & Reliable Transportation: Responsible for reliable transportation including pick-ups from school and outings to any classes. Early Childhood Development Knowledge: Experience with toddlers and knowledge of sleep education, will be responsible for bedtime routine. Responsibilities: Provide care for the child from 2pm to 8pm, Monday-Friday (with potential overtime).Comfortable with parents in the home Responsible for bath times, dinner, and bedtime. Willing to travel with family occasionally for scheduled trips. Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for learning and play. Communicate effectively with parents throughout the day. Engage in educational and fun activities with the child. Maintain a consistent routine while being adaptable to the family’s changing needs. Other ancillary support including clean-up after toddler, etc. Position to offer: Guaranteed hours and pay, paid vacation, Paid holidays, Paid sick time$24-$28/hr depending on experience. Must be willing to submit to a background check along with a 10 panel drug test and be CPR and First Aid certified.
