Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Repairs Safety Valves, Pneumatic and Electric Control Valves, and Valve Positioners.*

2. Tests Safety Valves, Pneumatic and Electric Control Valves, and Valve Positioners, using high pressure air, water, and steam.*

3. Assembles Safety Valves, Pneumatic and Electric Control Valves, and Valve Positioners.*

4. Identifies ways to make assembly, testing, and repair processes more efficient, and recommends those improvements to Production Team Leader.*

5. Prioritizes own work to be accomplished, based on the required schedules of orders, the time allotted and the availability of component stock.*

6. Works well as part of a team with other Valve Technicians, Sales Engineers, Sales Order Entry, Inventory Control, and Purchasing, regarding orders or modifications.*

7. Performs other duties as required or directed, including but not limited to, assisting with shipping/receiving, inventory control, and building & equipment maintenance.
