Job Purpose:

The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing both the marketing and sales functions. This role combines the strategic aspects of marketing with the operational aspects of sales to drive business growth and revenue generation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Achieves annual sales and gross profit plan by implementing sales strategies and analyzing trends and results in conjunction with sales team. 
  • Consistently meets or exceeds minimum KPI standards and expectations.
  • Prepares weekly and monthly consolidated reports reflecting orders, sales, key developments, market activity and future outlooks. 
  • Help develop business opportunities and operational strategies to maximize growth and profitability, expand market reach and accomplish missions' set.
  • Represent KF Valves in our relationships with major customers, suppliers, competitors, and government agencies.
  • Define and communicate the strategy for the region and ensure alignment with high-level business objectives.
  • Stay current with the latest developments in the marketplace and competitor activities.
  • Analyze market trends and develop sales plans to increase brand awareness.
  • Manage sales pipeline, sales forecast, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Work with all sales resources to develop territory / accounts plans to maximize revenue in the region.
  • Increase partner effectiveness by developing relationships, supporting their needs, and holding them accountable.
  • Co-sell to channel partner's customers to increase pull through demand in the territory.
  • Provide technical product training to channel partners and select channel partner's customers.
  • Ensure the recruitment, development, and retention of top talent.
  • Set goals for sales team and hold them accountable through review processes and recommend improvements,
  • Manage sales team through onboarding, coaching and performance development.
  • Communicate up-to-date information about new products and enhancements to sales team and customers. 
  • Coordinate with directors and the owner to create business plans to meet sales goals.
  • Develop process improvements to improve sales management activities.
  • Address customer-related issues, sales conflicts, and pricing issues promptly.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of related experience in marketing or sales.
  • Experience in management.
  • Understanding and knowledge of sales and marketing.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and report writing.
  • The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.
  • The ability to work under pressure.

Working Conditions:

  • The worker is subject to both environmental conditions: Activities occur inside and outside.

Physical Requirements:

  • Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.
