RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is looking for an experience Application Support Specialist for our client in McKinney/Plano. TX area.
Summary:
The Application Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the core ERP system and other internal business systems that are customer-facing applications. Typical services provided by this role include application management, support, training and documentation of policy and procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of how transactions flow through a fully integrated system. We are looking for an individual who has ERP and application experience to support corporate operations.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
* Application Support Specialist will provide excellent application support on the phone, in person and through ServiceNow ticket resolution; Ensure service levels are met; Keep the system running; respond to issues; Answer user questions regarding system features, functionality, and provide resolution to address issues
* Support and train on any product or software that interfaces with the ERP; Engage all parties with troubleshooting when needed
* Define problems, analyze symptoms, perform root cause analysis, and document resolution
* As an Application Support Specialist, you will provide excellent customer service to customers and end-users
* Support 3rd party products that interface with core ERP; Examples are Billtrust, Worldview, Saberis, Esker AP Automation, Avalara, Versapay and Worldpay
REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma, GED or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field preferred
* 3 years of experience with Agility, Epicor P21, MS Dynamics, Infor, NetSuite, Sage or similar ERP system relevant to the commercial distribution industry
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
* Role is for employment with Kforce; Subcontracting is not permitted
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM tools
* Prior experience in the distribution industry
* Familiarity with SQL or similar ad-hoc query and report building tool
* Strong organization and time management skills
* Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills for interacting with the team and customers
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:
* Job functions will be performed in an office environment
* 3 days onsite at the corporate office in McKinney, TX and remote 1-2 days per
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
