RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in New York, NY is looking for a Creative Service Professional, available to work CST Hours in either of the following cities: NY, Chicago, Denver, or Washington D.C. This role can be remote or hybrid (candidate can decide).
Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Editing reports of varying lengths, including shorter reports and longer reports that may take a few days
* Working with data and charts in Excel and publishing systems
* Training on Client specific systems and tools will be provided
* Work with a pooled approach, picking up work from a group inbox
* Editing for financial services, economist, and research teams
* Work varies depending on incoming tasks; Shared inbox with a large team, so work gets picked up as they go
* Using Excel and taking data given to them from finance teams and making it presentable
* Tasks may range from spending an entire day on an article to a couple of hours
* Generally, follows AP style guide, supplemented by their own style guide
REQUIREMENTS:
* Basic knowledge of Excel is required, skills like MS Visio are a plus but can be trained
* Adaptable to a good amount of training
* Ability to make suggestions, work with authors, and proofread for grammatical errors
* Editing test: Candidates will be asked to edit a short article, which will be reviewed during the interview; Expected to complete pre-interview and will be ran through AI checker
* No portfolio needed
* 2-5 years of experience is preferred
* Experience in financial editing is useful but not necessary
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
