RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Redmond, WA that is seeking a Data Center Maintenance Technician.
Responsibilities:
* Data Center Maintenance Technician will perform assigned basic tasks (e.g., making rounds, recording building observations, taking measurements) with varying levels of supervision
* Learn how to operate all systems and equipment in a safe and professional manner and learn about all risks associated with these systems
* Perform basic monitoring and inspection of critical environment-related facility equipment (e.g., controls, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning [HVAC], mechanical systems), building, and grounds for unsafe or abnormal conditions
* Perform basic monitoring of the performance of maintenance and operations of equipment (e.g., electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety) within the data center
* Utilize internal computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track all equipment assets and to complete work order requests for maintenance work
* Perform various types of maintenance (e.g., planned, predictive, corrective) as assigned following methods of procedure (MOPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs); Provide assistance by prepping materials and performing administrative tasks as instructed
* Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and systems independently and participate in troubleshooting complex systems with guidance from senior colleagues
* As a Data Center Maintenance Technician, you will document tasks/issues found in maintenance and troubleshooting for follow up as needed and escalate as appropriate
* Assess and identify the appropriate resources and equipment necessary to fully support environmental health and safety (EH&S) objectives
* Prepare and submit required reports (e.g., turnover, planned maintenance [PM]) as assigned following preexisting scripts and templates
* Document completed work using approved tools and procedural templates for senior-level review
REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma/GED, or equivalent
* 3-5 years of technical services experience (e.g., high-availability assembly/manufacturing/critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
