RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client that is seeking an Information Security Analyst in New York, NY. Summary: The Information Security Analyst is an integral member of the Information Security - Cyber Data Active Intelligence program, responsible for design and development of data delivery within the Information Security Data Warehouse ecosystem. In this role, you will report to the Director of Cyber Data Active Intelligence and will work in collaboration with data architects, developers, and key stakeholders to design robust scalable data, metric, and reporting solutions. This position will be part of a team responsible to work with other Information Security teams to design, develop, and deliver against new data sources, develop analytics against both streaming and batch-based data sets and delivery reporting capabilities. Responsibilities: * Information Security Analyst will translate business requirements into reporting and metric solutions * Identify and analyze data discrepancies and data quality issues and work to ensure data consistency and integrity * Write and modify stored procedures and scheduled jobs * Query tuning and optimization * As an Information Security Analyst, you will develop net new SSRS reports and modify existing reports * Analyze data and metrics to detect underlying trends and patterns * Integrate innovative solutions involving different technologies/products and support the development of testing and acceptance of prototypes and product recommendations REQUIREMENTS: * Experience in SQL development using SSMS, SSIS, and SSRS is preferred * Experience with data mining, monitoring, and tuning with very large data sets * Familiar with database design principles and query execution plans * Solid understanding of Data warehousing and OLAP concepts is preferred * Information Security domain knowledge (e.g., tools and technologies) is preferred * Strong analytical/problem solving skills with the ability to clearly articulate solution alternatives * Strong work prioritization, planning, and organizational skills * Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong interpersonal communications skills are required * Able to collaborate effectively, work closely within a coordinated team environment, and maintain composure while dealing with time sensitive deadlines or faced with system issues * Well-organized, action-oriented team player with the ability to prioritize daily work * Demonstrated ability to thrive in an Agile development environment (e.g., Scrum) * Ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
