Kforce Technology Staffing is Hiring an IT Support Specialist I Near Madison, WI

Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Madison, WI that is seeking a IT Support Specialist who will provide Desktop Support directly to internal end-users. They will be responsible for the imaging of laptops for new users, or current users getting new equipment. The IT Support Specialist will also respond to service ticket requests. This position will help support managing equipment inventory, sending and receiving equipment.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field
* 2-3 years of experience in the field
* Knowledge of information technology desktop support (mostly hardware and some software)
* Understanding of troubleshooting procedures and the ability to develop troubleshooting practices
* Ability to communicate clearly whether written or verbal and at all times
* Able to interact with end-users in an effective and professional manner
Specific types of experience or skills required:
* Ticketing management Tools (ServiceNow - preferred)
* Hardware (HP)
* MS Office and MS Teams Support
* A positive attitude and strong good customer service skills
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to unbox, lift, move, carry from 25 - 40 lbs
* Must be able to stand, kneel, and crawl under desks to setup workstations
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
