RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Anchorage, AK that is seeking a Junior Program Controller.
Responsibilities:
* In this role, the Junior Program Controller will maintain funds tracking for each task within complex T&M and Cost-plus contracts, to include funds burn rate and ceiling of travel, ODCs, and labor by task
* Preparation of monthly cash flow forecast and burn rate analysis for multiple, multimillion-dollar contracts
* Attend regular team meetings and assisting with necessary administrative tasks
* Coordinate with corporate Accounts Receivable group to assemble invoices for T&M and Cost-Plus contracts
* The Junior Program Controller will assist Directors and Program Managers with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable invoice reviews and recommendations
* Produce financial tracking and analysis across the Operating Group's portfolio of contracts, to be used in management reviews
* Assist as required with multiple Operating Group month-end close process and with financial revenue predictions
* As a Junior Program Controller, you will collaborate across the corporate structure to provide solutions to accounting problems as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
* 3 years of related experience
* Must be exceptionally skilled with MS Excel, as well as proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook applications
* Experience with program management is highly desirable
* Experience in accounting/financial management of multitask, cost plus or time & Materials contracts, specifically with multimillion-dollar contracts
* Must be very detail oriented, demonstrate excellent communication skills, a high level of integrity, exceptional problem-solving skills, and critical thinking
* Strong organization, project management and problem-solving skills with a proven track record in prioritizing tasks

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
