RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in McLean, VA that is seeking a Mid Level Automated Tester.
Responsibilities:
* The Automated Tester develops and analyzes tests for products and systems; collaborates with other engineering departments when necessary
* Applies specific functional knowledge; working/general industry knowledge
* Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
* As an Automated Tester, this role works independently with some guidance; May review or guide activities of more junior employees
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of directly related experience or Master's degree and 0-2 years directly related experience; Years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree for certain roles; Certifications may be accepted in lieu of a degree for certain technical roles
* Experience with writing test plans, test cases, and executing manual or automated test scripts
* Experience with developing and configuring automated test scripts and maintaining automated test and test environments
* Experience with configuring test scripts to support cross-browser testing
* Experience with SDLC and implementing incremental automation test scripts in an Agile team cadence
* Knowledge of automation tools, including Selenium, UFT, and industry best practices to successfully integrate in a client development environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
