RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a SDET (API/Java or Python) in Smithfield, RI.
Responsibilities:
* SDET will participate in squad level sprint activities and support delivery of test and automation solutions
* Collaboration with developers and business analysts to resolve issues or questions pertaining to test creation or execution
* Facilitate alignment to automation standards and support overall DevOps Integration
* Identify, communicate, and proactively lead project risks as well those of our supporting teams (as applicable)
* As a SDET, you will partner with development teams and promote understanding of quality engineering and its role in the project lifecycle
* Support the overall team's quality objectives and process improvement initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience
* 6 years of software testing, development, and automation experience
* Experienced with programming languages as Python or Java and scripting language like SQL is required
* Good understanding of cloud technologies, AWS or Azure is preferred
* Proficient in Agile software development
* Ability to multi-task and shift priorities in response to changing business needs
* Experience with trading or financial applications is preferred
* Understanding of Dev Ops principles and strategies as well as how to apply them to multiple SDLC models is preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
