RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in Naperville, IL.
Summary:
This role will be supporting a client in the financial sector. There will be a large cloud migration effort leveraging Azure DevOps. The client is looking for someone to help lead a team of engineers through this effort. The Senior DevOps Engineer will translate business requirements and context into secure, sound and efficient solutions.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Knowledge of DevOps, DevSecOps and Security Architecture
* Strong DevOps expertise, proven track of designing and building CI/CD pipelines
* Strong knowledge and experience in setting up, securing, and managing public cloud infrastructure (AWS)
* Solid understanding and proven practical experience with AWS IAM design
* Deep and broad knowledge of AWS services and experience building solutions on the public clouds
* Strong understanding and hands-on expertise in designing and running large scale cloud networking
* Applicant must be proficient in the use, creation and security of CI/CD pipelines, familiarity with IaC, CaC
* Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GitHub, GHAS, etc. from a security perspective
* Understanding of SAST/DAST/SCA/IAST and impact of integration to the pipeline
* Familiarity with Software development and Application Development with a deep understanding of secure coding principles
* Understanding of Quality Control and Test Automation in Agile-based Continuous Integration environments
* A strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, with a desire to stay up to date with the latest threats and trends
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
