Kforce Technology Staffing is Hiring a Service Desk Specialist II Near San Antonio, TX

Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX looking for a Service Desk Specialist II. This role is 100% onsite.
Technical Support:
* Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Windows operating systems
* Resolve issues related to SharePoint and OneDrive, including permissions, data synchronization, and collaboration tools
* Address and resolve cloud-related issues, particularly with platforms such as Microsoft 365 and Azure
Incident Management:
* Respond to and manage service desk tickets escalated from Level 1 support
* Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner
* Document all support activities, solutions, and outcomes in the service desk system
User Assistance:
* Assist end-users with technical issues via phone, email, and remote support tools
* Provide guidance and training to end-users on best practices for using SharePoint, OneDrive, and other cloud services
* Create and maintain user guides and knowledge base articles
System Administration:
* Perform routine maintenance and updates for Windows systems
* Assist with the deployment and management of cloud-based applications and services
* Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed
Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:
* Work closely with IT colleagues to ensure seamless support across all service levels
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of IT processes and procedures
* Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance IT support services
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3-5 years of experience in a Service Desk or IT support role
* Proven experience with Windows operating systems and troubleshooting
* Solid understanding of SharePoint and OneDrive administration and support
* Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft 365 and Azure
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
