RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Minneapolis, MN that is seeking a Software Developer who will be working on a project to update the company's wires platform to support ISO 20022 messages from the Federal Reserve. All banks that are a member of the Federal Reserve's Fedwire Funds service have migrated to the ISO 20022 messaging standard for sending/receiving payments.
Responsibilities:
* Develop new and/or modify existing programs on the bank's core wire transfer system
* Develop and execute test cases to perform unit testing
* Create system support and installation documentation
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5 years of experience in application development in an HP NonStop (legacy Tandem) environment, using Guardian and/or OSS
* Expert-level coding skills in the HP NonStop environment using a combination of TAL, TACL, SCOBOL, COBOL
* Functional knowledge of both SQL and Enscribe databases and DDL
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
Preferred:
* Coding experience with C, Java
* Previous experience developing payment systems within a financial institution and/or fintech
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
