Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Engineer in Columbus, OH.
Summary:
We are looking for a Software Engineer who will be helping contribute to one of our Content Authoring teams that is a key part of our digital learning platform. The services you help develop will provide content used across K-12, Higher Ed, Professional and International segments. Millions of students rely on the content and services every day to achieve their educational goals, which is even more critical in today's world of hybrid and remote learning.
Essential Functions:
* Software Engineer will participate in the design and development of applications and services to support various business and engineering initiatives
* Collaborate with engineers on your team on feature development and bug fixes
* Practice engineering best practices within your team to ensure quality, stability, performance, resiliency, and maintainability of your software
* Be a champion of the customer's voice and ensure our products are built with customer empathy at the forefront What can you bring to the role
REQUIREMENTS:
* 6 years of experience in product or enterprise software development
* Experience with Mobile Tech Stack Flutter, Dart, Typescript, Native Swift/Swift UI or Java/Kotlin; Strong with Node.js, RESTful webservices, AWS, S3 and Lambda, CloudWatch, automation experience
* Strong hands-on experience on the full software stack including Frontend, Backend/API and Databases
* Experience with application quality and testing practices like unit, integration and e2e testing, code coverage analysis and automated software inspection
* Demonstrated experience with developing on the Cloud
* Proven technical abilities in software development, testing, monitoring, performance tuning and deployment pipelines
* Executes pragmatically, consistently delivering high-quality, non-disruptive releases
* Strong sense of customer empathy and a commitment to delighting customers
* Passion for engineering best practices
* Ability to work across functional and domain boundaries to deliver software on time and with quality
* Tech stack our teams use: Angular, NodeJS, Go Lang, RESTful Web Services, CI/CD, Docker, Terraform, AWS, PostgreSQL, Redis

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
