RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect in support of a leading telecommunications client, focusing on billing system architecture. This role involves providing architectural guidance, developing data dictionaries, documenting sequence diagrams, developing UI mockups, and more.
Responsibilities:
* Design and oversee the architecture for billing systems, ensuring alignment with business needs and technological advancements
* Provide expert guidance on integrating and transitioning billing systems, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance
* Develop and manage RESTful APIs, ensuring efficient data exchange between systems
* Work with JSON for data representation and transfer
* Utilize AWS services for cloud-based solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability of the billing systems
* Develop comprehensive data dictionaries to standardize data definitions and formats across the organization
* Document sequence diagrams to represent system interactions and workflows clearly
* Create UI mockups to visualize and plan user interfaces for new and existing billing systems
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to ensure seamless implementation of solutions
* Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
* Identify and address potential issues and bottlenecks in billing system architecture and processes
REQUIREMENTS:
* Certification in AWS or related technologies
* Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, specifically in billing system architecture and transitions
* Strong expertise in REST APIs, programming (language agnostic), JSON, and AWS
* Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to create data dictionaries, sequence diagrams, and UI mockups
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
* Telecommunications industry experience
* Billing experience
* Experience with Kinesis and Kafka is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
