RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a Technical Writer for Cyber and Physical Security.
Key Responsibilities:
* Technical Writer will develop and maintain detailed documentation on cyber and physical security protocols, policies, and procedures, ensuring clarity and accuracy
* Create user manuals, technical guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and reports for various security tools, systems, and processes
* Collaborate with security experts, IT professionals, and other stakeholders to gather and interpret technical information, translating complex concepts into easy-to-understand documentation
* Ensure all documentation adheres to company standards and complies with relevant industry regulations and best practices
* Update and revise documentation regularly to reflect changes in security protocols, technologies, and industry standards
* As a Technical Writer, you will assist in the development and delivery of training materials and presentations to educate employees and stakeholders on security practices and procedures
* Conduct document reviews and editing to ensure grammatical accuracy, coherence, and technical correctness
* Manage and organize documentation repositories, ensuring easy access and retrieval for users
* Support the creation of security awareness materials, including newsletters, bulletins, and web content, to promote a culture of security awareness within the organization
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Communications, or a related field
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the fields of cyber and physical security
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for document creation, formatting, and presentation
* Strong understanding of cybersecurity and physical security concepts, technologies, and best practices
* Familiarity with document management systems and version control practices
* Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to explain complex technical information clearly
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
