ResponsibilitiesKforce has a client in East Brunswick, NJ that is seeking an Audit Associate for a hybrid role. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

- Audit Associate will assist in carrying out audit, accounting, and other consulting and attest services to clients
- Prepare accurate and organized workpapers to support audit findings
- Maintain proper documentation in accordance with firm policies and auditing standards
- Collaborate with engagement team to complete engagements within timelines and budgets
- Utilize analytical skills to handle complex accounting issues and specialized assignments
- Develop new client relationships and enhance current relationships by providing excellent client service
- As an Audit Associate, you will excel in a dynamic work environment servicing a variety of clients
- Participate in continuing education and professional development
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Actively working towards obtaining your CPA license; Current CPA license is a plus
- 6 months - 2 years of recent work experience as an auditor for a public accounting firm
- Ability to complete various assignments within time constraints and deadlines
- Outstanding collaboration, communication, organization, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications (Excel, Teams, Word, etc.)
