Kforce is Hiring an Automation Tester / SDET Near Austin, TX
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to enhance testing frameworks and improve automated test coverage
- Analyze user stories and technical requirements to understand testing requirements, performing manual verifications as needed
- Create and maintain automated tests based on manual verification results
- Prioritize and plan testing activities for timely completion within an Agile development environment
- Identify, record, and document bugs thoroughly, and follow through on the debugging process
- Enhance and advocate for best practices in automated testing to improve team efficiency and software quality
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing with a focus on automated testing
- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, or similar
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java or Python
- Experience with or willingness to delve deep into complex financial scenarios, understanding their impact on software functionality and user experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated interest in, or the ability to quickly learn the intricacies of personal finance, particularly as it relates to software used by financial advisors
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and testing tools
