Kforce is Hiring a Business Analyst Near Kansas, MO
- Business Analyst will liaise between technical and non-technical users including third party vendors, ensuring parties involved have an understanding and gain knowledge of the application and/or business considerations required to move forward with projects
- Assist Product Managers and Product Owners in translating the product vision into actionable feature(s) and stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria
- Serve as the knowledge resource for questions from the development team
- Provide updates and inputs to be used in various communications ranging from executive summaries to broad department updates
- Provide research and analysis to be used in creating and maintaining department technology and data roadmaps
- As a Business Analyst, you will serve as a backup Lean-Agile SAFE Product Owner
- Use high level of judgement and initiative in resolving problems and developing recommendations
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics) some combination of business and technology education/experience is highly preferred
- Prefer 3 years of experience in engineering, business technology and/or consulting; Will consider less experience for the right candidate
- Financial Services experience
- Experience with heavy data/system integration
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel/PPT and experience with or capability to learn Tableau and SharePoint
- Ability to work on assignments independently
- Experience with executing in an Agile development environment
- Experience managing a suite of vendor applications, with preferred experience with FactSet, Bloomberg, BlackRock and/or related platforms
- Comfort and expertise with investment data sets (security master, holdings, portfolio analytics) and an ability to mine such data and produce analyses
- Ability to conduct systems/workflow analyses and generate process integration mapping
- Strong aptitude in learning new tools and technologies to be able to work effectively in a rapid growth environment
