Kforce is Hiring a Deal Closing Specialist Near Newark, DE
ResponsibilitiesKforce has a client in Newark, DE that is seeking a Deal Closing Specialist responsible for the set-up and funding of corporate syndicated loan transactions for Commercial Bank and Corporate & Investment Bank Clients on the LoanIQ product processor. The Deal Closing Specialist has direct contact with attorneys, borrowers, lenders and internal middle and front office teams to support the operational aspects of a syndicated loan closing and funding. Responsibilities:

- Provide deal origination and execution support to Debt Capital Markets and Credit Risk Management
- Review legal documentation for operational feasibility
- Initiate systems set-up on all aspects of new deals, including lenders and borrower contact and account/funding details
- Manage the process of contacting investors and obtaining administrative information associated with new deals
- Initiate initial funding on new deals and restructurings; manage the funding process with Corporate Treasury, syndicate lenders, etc.
- Process system changes for documented loan amendments and modifications
- Manage pipeline of assigned closing transactions with potential for multiple transactions closing in a single day
- Support adhoc projects, manager assigned tasks, etc.
- Support daily, weekly and month controls and metrics reporting
- Undergraduate degree is strongly preferred but related job and industry experience can be accepted as a substitute (2 years)
- Must be a team oriented individual
- Must be highly organized with ability to manage a variety of tasks
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving and judgement skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- General accounting knowledge preferred
- Experience reading and interpreting loan documentation or related experience dealing with documentation preferred
