ResponsibilitiesKforce has a client that is an Infrastructure Specialist File Share Migration in Salt Lake City, UT. This role is contract (Hours-based, not full-time). The contract will be based on a set number of hours allocated for the project. Overview: We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Specialist to assist with a critical file share migration project. This contract role will involve managing the migration of file shares across specific sites in the US, Mexico, and Canada. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Ctera/Windows infrastructure and a strong background in using Robocopy for data migration. Key Responsibilities:
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.

- File Share Migration: Lead the migration of file shares for designated sites, ensuring data integrity and permissions are preserved throughout the process
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in Ctera/Windows infrastructure; Write and modify Robocopy scripts to handle data migration, interpret Robocopy logs, and make necessary adjustments
- Azure File Management: Build and manage Azure File Share/Storage environments according to provided documentation
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with site resources to understand and meet end-user expectations and experiences related to file shares
- System Knowledge: Apply knowledge of on-premises DFS systems and their integration with Azure Files; Understand Azure Files, Azure Storage, and Azure roles/permissions systems to ensure a smooth migration process
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Ctera/Windows infrastructure and Robocopy scripting; Experience with interpreting and troubleshooting Robocopy logs
- Azure Experience: Hands-on experience in setting up and managing Azure File Share/Storage environments
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate with various stakeholders and understand their needs and expectations
- System Knowledge: Familiarity with on-premises DFS systems and their interaction with Azure Files; Understanding of Azure Files, Azure Storage, and Azure roles/permissions systems
