ResponsibilitiesKforce has a client in Sacramento, CA that is seeking a Lead IT Infrastructure Engineer to support the implementation of the Continuum Electronic Health Record (EHR) solution. The services will include implementing the groundwork for data storage, backup and recovery, security and automation. Responsibilities:

- System Administration: Overseeing the day-to-day operation of computer networks and systems. This could involve managing servers, including email servers, file servers, and databases
- Network Management: Ensuring the stable operation of the in-house network services; This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links
- Monitoring: Continuously monitoring system performance to provide proactive problem identification and resolution, minimizing downtime and maintaining business productivity
- Security: Implementing and maintaining security measures in line with organizational policies and standards, which may include managing firewalls, antivirus solutions, and patch management systems to protect against threats
- Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implementing and testing backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation of the IT infrastructure, procedures, and inventory to ensure efficient management and onboarding of new IT team members
- Technology includes: VMware, VXrails, M365 G5 Suite of tools, Splunk, Dell Compute and Storage, Certification Automation, Conditional Access, MFA, Linux, Backup Software
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering Field; Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis
- 8 years of experience aligning IT systems with organizational business processes
- 5 years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity
- Possession of a valid Azure Cosmos DB Developer Specialty certification from Microsoft.
- Possession of a valid VMware Certified Advanced Professional-Data Center Virtualization Deploy (VCAP-DCV Deploy) certification from VMware
- Possession of a valid SysOps Administrator Associate certification from AWS
- Possession of a valid Azure Network Engineer Associate certification from Microsoft
- Possession of a valid VMware Certified Professional-Security (VCP-SEC) certification from VMware
- Possession of a valid Advanced Networking Specialty certification from AWS
- Possession of a valid Azure Security Engineer Associate certification from Microsoft
- Possession of a valid Security Specialty certification from AWS
