Kforce is Hiring a Remote Mobile Developer (Remote)

ResponsibilitiesA client with Kforce is seeking a Mobile Developer to join their team remotely. EST hours are required. Summary: Projects can vary from working on mobile food and drink ordering, wait times on the app, show times, and gaming elements within the app. The Mobile Developer will be attending daily standups regular planning meetings 2-week sprints. The candidate will be responsible for monthly releases working on retros and refinements development. Duties:
  • Works with internal business clients and external vendors; Read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical manuals and procedures, or governmental regulations; Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public; Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form; Compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw graphs, and interpret spreadsheets; Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Research, design, and deliver hardware and software solutions
  • Drive the documentation of system business requirements, technical requirements, specifications, and test cases on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and departments
  • Design run and monitor software tests on new and existing systems for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience desired in one or more of the following fields: Computer Information Technology, Computer Programming and Analysis, Industrial Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology
  • 5 years of equivalent work experience
  • 2 years of specific Enterprise Flutter/Dart experience is required
  • This person can come from an iOS or Android developer background as long as they have specific Flutter experience; Project Management experience is not as much of a need
  • Hands-on experience developing unit test cases and plans
  • Proven hands-on experience as a software engineer with expertise and focus on one or more technologies inclusive of NodeJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, ExpressJS; Experience in Mocha, CouchDB, Redis, Kafka, Docker and Kubernetes are a plus
  • Expertise with REST, Node.JS, NoSQL, SQL, inventing patterns and microservices
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving techniques required
  • Good presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills required
  • Flexible and adaptable regarding learning and understanding new technologies
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • On-call availability on an occasional basis
  • May require working hours outside of typical business hours which could include nights and weekends as necessary to meet project deadlines and operational support needs
  • Experience preferred in project management, business analysis, or system design
  • Experience with integrating systems desired
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
