Kforce is Hiring a Project Estimator l Near North Palm Beach, FL

ResponsibilitiesKforce has a client that is seeking a Project Estimator l in Juno Beach, FL. Summary: This position develops, quantifies, costs, and provides a complete Capital Expenditure (Capex) model for evaluating projects. Capex models include all engineering. In this role, you will provide technical guidance, estimating knowledge, market pricing, and staffing considerations during the estimating process. Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Project Estimator l will prepare capital cost estimates
  • Review designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives when appropriate
  • Coordinate and interface on a regular basis with other departments to ensure communication and understanding of proposal/project objectives and the most efficient and productive utilization of resources
  • As a Project Estimator l, you will review layouts, designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives when appropriate
  • Remains current with technology and industry evolution to assure that project capital estimates anticipate the correct market conditions
  • Establish, build, and implement metric's
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of experience
  • Strong preference for candidates with previous experience in renewables
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
