ResponsibilitiesKforce has a client in Cincinnati, OH that is seeking a Level 2 Quality Engineer to join their team on a 6-month contract to hire basis. Summary: We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This role requires expertise in automation concepts, test environment management, and Qmetry test management, with a focus on data warehousing in the health and wellness domain. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively across diverse teams, demonstrating strong communication skills and an ability to excel in Agile environments. Key Responsibilities:

- Quality Engineer Level 2 will develop and maintain functional automation test scripts using modular frameworks
- Execute test scripts to validate application functionality
- Perform various types of testing (smoke, white box, black box, integration, regression, etc.)
- Participate in requirement and design review sessions from a test automation standpoint
- Manage test coverage based on risk analysis
- Document defects and prioritize based on application functionality
- As a Quality Engineer Level 2, you will coordinate test script reviews with stakeholders
- Adhere to testing guidelines for requirements, defect, and test script writing
- Ensure timely completion of deliverables within schedule, budget, and quality constraints
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis sessions
- Promote and improve QA processes within the team
- Experience with CI tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab)
- Experience in test environment and test data management
- Experience with Selenium Grid
- Knowledge of Python for backend testing
- Familiarity with SQL for backend database validation
- Strong understanding of automation concepts and approaches
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across different business teams
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Proficient in defect tracking tools (Jira, Rally)
- Utilization of risk-based testing techniques
- Demonstrated assertiveness and ability to challenge norms
- Ability to work effectively with remote teams
- Ability to adapt to various workspaces and environments
- Familiarity with Snowflake and Azure (nice to have)
- Background in pharmacy or healthcare (nice to have)
