ResponsibilitiesKforce has a client that is seeking a Remote Senior .NET/C# Developer. Overview: Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET/C# Developer to join the Enrollment Team, focusing on the Medicare and ID card enrollment project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with .NET, C#, and SQL, and be adept at handling file processing jobs, file input/output, and operational support. Responsibilities:

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

- Senior .NET/C# Developer will manage and support enrollment processes for Medicare and ID cards
- Develop and maintain backend systems using .NET and C#
- Perform extensive SQL database work, including running and connecting SQL queries with C# for input/output operations
- Handle file processing jobs and resolve issues when data file jobs fail
- As a Senior .NET/C# Developer, you will utilize Kanban methodology to manage and prioritize support issues, defect management, and operational tasks
- Participate in daily stand-ups to review and assign tasks from the Kanban board
- Ensure good work-life balance by adhering to a standard 40-hour workweek, with the operations team handling night issues.
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve processes and support open enrollment periods effectively.
- Extensive experience with .NET and C# development
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server, with minimal Oracle experience
- Proven track record in managing file processing jobs and resolving database issues
- Familiarity with Kanban methodology and operational support tasks
- Knowledge of batch processing
- Ability to work effectively in a remote VDI environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working in the healthcare industry, particularly with enrollment systems
- Familiarity with the challenges and dynamics of non-profit organizations
- Remote work with flexibility in time zones (team currently includes a member in NYC)
- Standard 40-hour workweeks to ensure a good work-life balance
