Kforce is Hiring a Senior Accountant Near Tampa, FL
- The Senior Accountant will partner with various contacts in operations accounting to ensure the accurate completion of monthly close and costing activities, including journal entries, allocations, cost center reviews, reconciliations, and accruals
- Accounting for various North American operations activities
- Prepare, maintenance and support monthly balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline
- Identify outstanding issues and ensure that unreconciled balances are promptly researched and resolved in a timely manner
- The Senior Accountant will support North American Shared Services Accounting areas as required; including but not limited to cash, revenue recognition, fixed assets, warehousing, and distribution
- Prepare internal and external audit documentation and support
- Challenge current business processes and create innovative solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with emphasis in accounting and/or finance
- 5 years of experience in general accounting duties including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and financial analysis
- SAP experience preferred
- Advanced understanding of GAAP and internal controls with the ability to apply these principles in practice
- Demonstrated proficiency with MicroSoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Be highly motivated and self-directed
- Experience with S4Hana a plus
