Kforce is Hiring a Senior Front-End Developer Near Leawood, KS
- Senior Front-End Developer will collaborate with the Software Engineering Manager to execute site change requests ranging from minor text updates to complex flow changes
- Take ownership of the consumer facing websites, work independently to propose well thought out solutions that are high-performing, scalable, and follow industry-best practices
- Write clean and well-designed code that aligns with product specifications and adheres to team coding standards
- Optimize and refactor existing code to reduce load time and/or improve maintainability
- As a Senior Front-End Developer, you will review application logs/alerts to identify, troubleshoot, test, and maintain our web applications; Write automated tests and alerts as necessary
- Document product architecture, sub-components, and the development process, including technical documentation for existing product architecture or proposed enhancements
- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle
- 7 years of demonstrated expertise in developing Single Page Applications (SPAs) using ReactJS
- Experience with build tools such as Webpack or Babel
- Experience with package managers such as NPM or Yarn is a must
- Expertise in HTML5 and CSS3, along with familiarity with preprocessors like Sass and LESS and frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS
- Understanding of state management, preferably using Redux
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and experience collaborating with marketing and design teams
- Regular use of Git for version control and familiarity with collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, and Slack
- Familiarity with AWS (or any other public cloud), PHP/Laravel programming, SQL prog is a plus
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6 and above) and TypeScript, with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming, promises, and callbacks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
