Kforce is Hiring a Senior Project Manager Near Draper, UT
- Develops project charter that includes specifications and objectives from initiation to delivery for complex projects; This entails interfacing with organizational leaders to define scope to meet objectives, develop project schedules, and develop capacity and resource requirements
- Serves as a central point of contact to routinely relay, facilitate and keep stakeholders apprised of the project's status and respond to questions or inquiries regarding the project
- Maintains open communications and relationships with the project team, coordinating and conducting meetings as appropriate
- Conducts risk assessment of strategic, technical, financial, or business factors affecting the project
- Monitors project deliverables and progress through the duration of the project plan, managing deviations as appropriate, including project scope
- Identifies factors jeopardizing the project and escalates issues as appropriate, recommending solutions to senior project team members and leaders
- Drives project progress throughout the life cycle of the project in addition to preparing, maintaining, and updating project plans, agendas, and systems set-up for projects
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare or technology-related field or relevant experience required
- Minimum of seven (7) years of project management experience leading large initiatives
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
- Strong execution skills as demonstrated by successful experience overcoming project obstacles, implementing risk mitigation and contingencies, building strong project teams and project deliver
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and interpersonal skills are required to effectively communicate with stakeholders, guide and lead others and provide direction
- People leadership skills that build a collaborative project management team environment that leads to more skilled project managers
- Understanding of budgetary and financial processes such that project budgets can be obtained and managed throughout the lifecycle of a project
- Strong execution skills as demonstrated by successful experience overcoming project obstacles, implementing risk mitigation and contingencies, building strong project teams and project deliver
- Proficiency with business and communications software (preferably Word, Excel, PowerPoint, common Windows operating systems, and Outlook) is required; Hands-on knowledge of project management tools is also required with Workfront knowledge preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities and the ability to work under specific time constraints and with limited supervision are required
- Agile Scrum Master certification preferred (CSM)
- ITIL certification preferred
- Preferred candidates will have a background managing data-related projects and come from a healthcare and/or finance background

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
