Kforce is Hiring a Senior Software Engineer Near Arlington, VA
- Senior Software Engineer devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results
- Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs
- Conducts code review of subordinate developers and peers
- Work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications programming activities; Coordinates with Cybersecurity team members to implement and maintain a SDLC with an understanding of NIST SP 800-63 RMF and the DoD implementation of RMF
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
- Required Security certification
- 8 years of experience in software design, engineering, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, or problem diagnosis and resolution
- Requires proficiency in software development, security, and operations (DevSecOps) methodologies (i.e., Agile, Scrum, etc.)
- This position is required to be proficient with the software, tools, and programming languages such as C#, Java
- Experience with multiple programming languages (C# at a minimum, Java and JavaScript preferred)
